INTERNSHIP PROGRAMEdit

The Alaska SeaLife Center is sponsoring an internship program for college students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining an educational experience in a world-class marine facility. In keeping with the Center's mission, interns gain experience in the areas of research, rehabilitation, public education and conservation as they relate to the North Pacific marine ecosystem.

Program Information:Edit

  • College students or recent college graduates
  • Full time (40 hours/week)
  • Requires a minimum requirement of 12 weeks
  • Housing provided
  • Stipend provided
  • No college credit required
  • Intern responsible for travel expenses
  • Foreign students must obtain a J-1 visa to participate


Application packets are due by January 10th and must include:

Cover letter

Resume

Application

Two letters of recommendation

Writing sample (if applicable, see descriptions)
